Event Invitations Consultation Hours
The Campaigns team at the Wikimedia Foundation is building an event center that houses a number of tools that can support organizers in the movement to run campaigns and/or events in an easy and fun way. Following the successful launch of the event registration tool, the team is developing a new tool to support event invitation. The Event Registration tool is the first on-wiki tool of the center.
Beyond easy event registration and management, we also want to help movement organizers promote their events in and outside their Wikimedia communities. And we want to co-work with you to learn how we can design the tool in a way that serves you best.
The consultation hour is an open collaboration space that allows movement organizers to test this tool through participation in a series of small activities that builds the tool the community deserves.
But here is more! You also get an opportunity to learn the different themes emerging on the Event Registration Tool and how you can use it even more.
Who can participate?
[edit]- Wikimedia Affiliates and Organizers running campaigns in February through March 2024 that are interested in using Event Invitations for their events. Such campaigns/events should focus on improving Wikipedia articles in different languages.
