Feminism and Folklore 2021 in Tanzania is part of an international writing contest organized at Wikipedia annually in the month of February and March to document folk cultures and women in folklore in different regions of the world on Swahili Wikipedia. This Project is contest will have local prizes and will run for a one month long period from 1st March to 31st March 2021.

Project goal

  1. Add or improve Feminism and Folklore content on Swahili Wikipedia by translating the English articles from list into Swahili articles on Swahili Wikipedia.
  2. Recruit new editors to join us through this contest
  3. Engage existing editors to participate in this first time project in Tanzania

  • 3rd Winner =50USD
