Português: "Jardim sem governo” foi um projeto de arte participativa e colaborativa que aconteceu no espaço público da cidade de São Paulo, de iniciativa da artista visual, educadora e pesquisadora, Teresa Siewerdt. Foi o projeto premiado, representando a Região Oeste de São Paulo, pela 1ª edição do Programa Memorabilia, de iniciativa do Arquivo Histórico Municipal de São Paulo. Nas palavras de Teresa, "o trabalho teve início em 2016, a partir de um convite curatorial para desenvolver um jardim no contexto da cidade de São Paulo, como parte do projeto Jardinalidades, contemplado por edital do Programa de Ação Cultural (PROAC) do Estado de São Paulo. Neste jardim, prateleiras de ferro, instaladas em uma parede, abrigavam plantas que foram descartadas em lixeiras da cidade. O jardim estava localizado no número 1 da Rua Lopes Chaves no bairro da Barra Funda, em um beco sem saída. No local
funcionava um ponto de comércio clandestino de materiais descartados, por este motivo, o local era frequentado e habitado por catadores que viviam da venda destes materiais. Dentre os materiais de descarte com valor de comércio, encontram-se o papelão, o ferro, o cobre e o alumínio, mas além deles existem uma infinidade de outros materiais e objetos cotidianos sem um destino certo, inclusive plantas. Esta constatação deu início à ideia de formar um jardim composto inteiramente por plantas rejeitadas e descartadas no lixo, trazidas ao local pelos próprios catadores da região em suas carroças e por quem mais quisesse trazê-las." |
