English: Buiding Wikipedia Awareness and Training in Gombe State:This project in Jewel in the Savannah, Gombe State, was first of it kind aimed at creating awareness about Wikimedia Foundation projects among the populace of Gombe State and training youths digital literacy and research skills to enable them actively contribute local content (Gombe history, culture and tradition, cuisine, tourism sites, tribes and languages) to Wikipedia and sister projects to enhance the visibility of information about Gombe State and her people to the world.
