In our big day of staff appeal testing, we also switched up the banner text and tried out:
- Please read: An appeal from our staff
- Please read an appeal from our staff
- Please read: a special appeal from our staff
- Our staff has a question for you
- Our staff needs your help
- How important is it to you that Wikipedia is ad-free?
Results
We couldn't beat the standard "please read" text although "special" appeal looks like it was pretty close.
