Tired of reading personal appeals from Jimmy Wales? Want the annual fundraiser to better represent the rich diversity of the global Wikipedian community? Help us improve the 2012 Fundraiser by sharing your experiences, thoughts and enthusiasm for Wikipedia with our Storytelling team. As part of the 2012 Fundraiser, the Wikimedia Foundation is collecting stories from Wikipedians around the world. Storyteller Victor Grigas will be traveling to St.Petersburg on June 5,6 and 7th and and Moscow on June 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th and he wants to meet with you!

Scheduling Your Interview

Please use this page to select a time slot for your interview. Look through the daily schedules below - any slot listed as "open" is still available. Once you find a slot that works for you, edit this page and replace "open" with your Wikipedia user name. If you have any comments, questions or feel that you’d like to talk to me in person but wont be able to make it to either of these locations and would like to schedule a Skype or telephone interview, please email Victor at vgrigaswikimedia(dot)org.

Notification

We seek to find Wikipedians who have interesting stories to tell about themselves and their use of Wikipedia. The primary use of these stories is for the 2012 fundraiser, but here are also functions for these stories (such as communication blogs).

We will ask you about:

• yourself
• your interest in Wikipedia
• questions for fundraising.

Your interview may or may not be used by the Wikimedia Foundation for operational, promotional or fundraising purposes and may be seen in presentations, email, the web, visual or print media. There is a legal release that you will have to sign to be interviewed. If you have any questions, please please email Victor at vgrigaswikimedia(dot)org
