In Biel/Bienne finden regelmässige GLAM-Treffen am letzten Freitag im Monat statt.

In Biel/Bienne there are GLAM-Meetings every last Friday of the month. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Projekt "Faces and Masks", eine Kollaboration mit Rose Musyoki from Art Network Africa.

Des rencontres GLAM sont organisées chaque dernier vendredi du mois. Le sujet est "Faces and Masks", une collaboration avec Rose Musyoki de Art Network Africa.

Gesicht und Maske: Zwischen Selbst, Anderem und Transformation

Vortrag in deutsch: Masken und Gesichter prägen unser Verständnis von Identität – sie verbergen, offenbaren und verwandeln zugleich. Der Vortrag beleuchtet die kulturelle und politische Bedeutung von Masken, ihr Zusammenspiel mit dem Gesicht und ihre Funktion in der heutigen Gesellschaft. Anhand künstlerischer Beispiele, vom klassischen Porträt bis zu zeitgenössischer Kunst, wird gezeigt, wie Masken als Mittel der Selbstdarstellung, des Protests und der Macht inszeniert werden.
