What else?

[edit]
  • Appoint mediators in groups/chapters to deal with gender/diversity complaints -- build a process!
  • Get more men involved in the discussion,in particular professional people such as doctors etc.
  • Partnerships with non-Wikimedia women-focused organizations (Ada Iniatiaive, Science Girl, Geek Feminism)
  • Mentorship: pair new female editors with other female editors for support
  • Regional cooperations
  • Have a process for talking to people who actively discriminate (publically and privately)
  • No new admins until at least 25% identify as women
  • Support/replicate Ada Initiative's "what can I as a straight white male do to help" training
  • Be cognizant that it is discouraging for editors who feel out of place for being female to attend feminist events where the trainers are all or mostly men!
  • How can we be more transgender inclusive?
