  • Student Success in Writing Conference (SSWC) was conduced at Georgia State University in Savannah, GA on April 6.

July - December[edit]

  • Group member, Ganeshk, presented at the Unsung Women of Tech and Journalism: A Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon event on July 21. Moderator: Willoughby Mariano, investigative reporter, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Panelists: Jovita Moore, news anchor; WSB-TV, Candace Roberts, data analysis and SQL instructor, General Assembly; Jennifer Sutcliffe, librarian, Emory University.
  • Group members met on August 26 for the Georgia Wiknic 2018 at Tribble Mill Park, Lawrenceville, GA.
  • Group assisted the Atlanta Women Scientist Edit-a-thon on October 16. [1] [2]
  • Group members, Ganeshk, LadyofShalott, and Jennifer attended the WikiConference North America at Columbus, OH from October 18-21.

  • Group assisted students and faculty at Art+Feminism Meetup at the Georgia State University, Atlanta on March 6.

  • "Flash talk" about OCLC/WP course at Athens Regional Library in November
