Project idea[edit]

What is the problem you're trying to solve?[edit]

Nowadays women in most countries can study, work, vote, be elected and realize themselves. Obviously, there is a long way and still there is discrimination in many fields and sadly we women discriminate ourselves “None but ourselves can free our mind”. But, not always women had a choice. Women could not neither study nor work, but in their humble positions and roles they helped many men to achieve their goals and to be recognized as “great men”. How many wives, mothers, aunts, daughters, secretaries, employees made possible the success of a man? They never were recognized because of their gender, but we can do something for them now.

What is your solution?[edit]

Make a suggested list of men who has or had a great woman behind him. Ask both women and men to write or translate their biographies to show and stand out the role of the woman behind him. New women in Wikipedia would have to start by editing “a great woman behind a man” and tutors would be encouraged to teach by editing “a great woman behind a man”. Thus, there will be more inspiring stories of women to inspire women to be great women and men to be great men behind a woman. If a woman edits the information of “a great woman behind a man”, the woman can have double points.
