Project idea[edit]

What is the problem you're trying to solve?[edit]

Low awareness and use of Wikipedia in different regions, eg Africa.

What is your solution?[edit]

By participating in the game on radio, listeners of these prominent radio stations will use Wikipedia and at the long run know more about the movement. Furthermore, it will motivate people in the media to understand the movement and join us.

Project goals[edit]

- More readers in different Wikipedia languages, eg Русский, Français, Italian, Português, etc.

- More awareness of Wikipedia in these languages

- Recruitment of at least a media expert.

Get involved[edit]

This idea will require facilitators from different regions who will be community organizers, in different countries like Uganda, South Africa, Botswana, Cote d'Ivoire,Congo, etc. They will find a radio station with good audience and incorporate this program in their show.
