Grants:IdeaLab/Idea lab idea lab
What is the problem you're trying to solve?
Chapters and other groups often provide space for their members to generate and discuss ideas. However, a) sometimes these are not terribly sophisticated spaces, and b) this can lead to duplication, a smaller discussion group, and difficulties with archiving, scoping, reaching out to the wider community, etc.
What is your solution?
If the idea lab were developed further to support some localisation within a common framework, this might help support groups who want to build and share ideas throughout the movement while maintaining a specific local interest in the ideas of their membership. It would also facilitate groups in engaging with ideas from the wider community, possibly leading to inter-chapter collaboration, engaging volunteers with chapter/group support (perhaps sometimes outside of their own countries), etc.
- increase number of 'ideas' (and number of chapter based project grants and in-kind support)
- support cross chapter/group collaboration
- Increase engagement on 'ideas' both within the ideaslab and those hosted on chapter wikis
- Develop Idea lab to support such activity - including filtering by chapter/org, etc.
