Project idea

[edit]

What is the problem you're trying to solve?

[edit]

While I was trying to build my first five-sentence stub entry, an editor kept deleting it. They later provided me with directions on what it lacked, but it took nearly a day to get the material up, due to others' obstruction, and it has still be flagged for removal after one week. AFAIK, only two other people have seen it so far (2 comments), hardly a collaborative community.

What is your solution?

[edit]

Leaving new editors' work up for review by more people--instead of tearing it down almost simultaneously--would foster more new joins. I don't know if I'll continue to contribute unless the climate changes (and I'm female). Not asking for any gender-based favors, just a better, more lengthy review process--NO ONE can vet an article with thousands of google-search pages in a few minutes.
