What is the problem you're trying to solve?[edit]
El problema es el que plantea Wikipedia: solo un 20% de sus participantes son mujeres. Si no analizamos el por qué de esta situación no podremos pensar en una solución. Son muchas las hipótesis que uno podría aventurar sobre esta falta de participación de mujeres en el mundo Wikipedia pero no sería lógico, siguiendo las propuestas de rigor de Wikipedia atenernos a una sin fundamento.
Translation: The problem is the one raised by Wikipedia: only 20% of its participants are women. If we don't analyze the reason for this situation we will not be able to think of a solution. There are many hypotheses that can be advance about this lack of participation by women in the world of Wikipedia, but it would not be logical, following Wikipedia's rigorous proposals, to stick to one without a basis.
What is your solution?[edit]
Lo primero que yo haría sería una encuesta entre los participantes, o usuarios registrados para tener una verdadera base científica que permita en otra etapa evaluar nuevas estrategias de inclusión de la mujer en este tipo de plataforma. Mi hipótesis es que los que que participan son personas que trabajan en el mundo informático. La pregunta sería cuál es la proporción de mujeres en ese mundo.
Translation: The first thing I would do would be a survey of participants or registered users to have a real scientific basis that would allow us in another stage to evaluate new strategies of women's inclusion in this type of platform. My hypothesis is that these that participate are people that work in sphere of computing. The question could be what is the proportion of women in this sphere.
