I am an advanced beginner in Wikidata, but want to level up even further. Also, I have good instincts or aims when it comes to diversity in governance and participation but need to make sure I'm not making well-intentioned mistakes or missing people.

I founded The Wikipedia Library, which is really just about 100 partnerships that were formed, maintained, and promoted within the scholarly communications community. By having a compelling pitch, we were able to make it tempting for paywalled publishers to participate in masse in a program that ""gives away"" their content for the benefit of humanity (and their own knowledge dissemination priorities).
