Budget breakdown[edit]

Kick Start for the fundraising committee of WMHK: USD 1000

Kick Start for the 2010 Anniversary Event: USD 2000

Project scope[edit]

WMHK would like to do more on fundraising and sponsorship, so we would like to set up a fundraising committee to deal with the fundraising and sponsorship stuff from Hong Kong and even mainland China.

WMHK also would like to organize an anniversary event in 2010, which is open to public. We hope we can get more sponsorship, donation and member application in this event.

Project goal[edit]

- fundraising committee can work better with financial support

- 2010 Anniversary Event can organize bigger and invite more attendees

Non-financial requirements[edit]

The publications from Wikimedia Foundation will be helping us, then we can distribute in the 2010 Anniversary Event.

Fit to strategy[edit]

The fundraising committee can participate in Wikimedia Foundation annual fundraising campaigns.

Other benefits[edit]

2010 Anniversary Event can help us to reach more people or donors in Hong Kong.

Measures of success[edit]

We will consider this project a success if we can get a higher amount of donation or sponsorship next year.
