	Grants Programs	The Wikimedia Foundation supports individuals and organizations around the world to increase the diversity, reach, quality and quantity of free knowledge. We have three funding programs that support individuals and organizations: the Wikimedia Community Fund, Wikimedia Alliances Fund, and Wikimedia Research and Technology Fund. 	Funding by Countries	With the US sanctions, other challenges, and restrictions around funding from the grantee's local jurisdiction, there can be varying complexities with grant making. Check out the funding possibilities we have listed per country keeping in mind the challenges/restrictions for both the grantor and grantee.
	Registration with Fluxx Grantee Portal	You can apply for the Wikimedia Foundation grants using Fluxx Grantee Portal. Learn how to register in Fluxx Grantee Portal and access your user portal. Registration requests on Fluxx are reviewed by our team manually. Please wait over three business days to receive the confirmation for login credentials from Fluxx. 	Application	Check out the application forms for your grant program. Learn more about the application process on Fluxx. Watch a sample application video. After your application has been submitted, please ensure you learn about the documentation and information requirements we have for different grantee types. Applicants can directly upload the required documents to the Fluxx portal by going to "My User Info".
	Eligibility Requirements	WMF requires the information and documents from the grant applicants to determine their eligibility to receive a grant under the US regulations from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). 	Post Grant Award	We have instructions designed to help you confirm previously submitted information or provide missing information needed to process your grant. Read more to confirm the requested information to proceed to the next stage.

	Unused grant funds	Grantees are responsible for any legal or regulatory requirements associated with returning grant funds and should make sure they are able to return any remaining unused grant funds or make other appropriate arrangements to ensure that they can return funds before receiving any funds. 	Changes to your grant	When plans change it is important for grantees to either notify the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) of the changes, as required in your grant agreement or request permission from WMF to make a change, as required in your grant agreement or by program policy.
