All EU Member States will have to implement a copyright reform in the coming two years. Traditionally free knowledge enthusiasts and artists have been on opposing sides of the reform debate.
Yet, both experience similar problems with limited access to cultural heritage, the legal uncertainty around re-mixes, photographs of public art and chosing the right licenses.

For the problem you identified in the previous section, briefly describe your how you would like to address this problem. We recognize that there are many ways to solve a problem. We’d like to understand why you chose this particular solution, and why you think it is worth pursuing. Remember to review the tutorial for tips on how to answer this question.
We would like to use the space at the Sofia Art Week to have a 3D printer coupled with AI software recreate one of the city's sculptures based on images taken by visitors and internet users. This will let us engaeg them in a discussion about cutulral heritage, public art, re-mixes and intellectual property restrictions.

Bridge the gap between artists/creators and the free knowledge movement in light of the upcoming copyright reforms in Europe.

How will you know if you have met your goals?[edit]
For each of your goals, we’d like you to answer the following questions:
- During your project, what will you do to achieve this goal? (These are your outputs.)
- Once your project is over, how will it continue to positively impact the Wikimedia community or projects? (These are your outcomes.)

- Set up space with a 3D printer and re-create a city statue
- Organise an edit-a-thon about contemporary art
- Stage a discussion about IPR, cultural heritage and contemporary art
- Offer a "licensing clinic" where free licences are explained to creators
2. Outcomes
- We plan a follow-up project with at least one artist group.
- We publish a joint position on copyright with creators
- We become part of the "contact list" of media outlets

We hope to attract well over 1000 visitors to our porject space.
