Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

Making sure I had active internet connection and following up with participants to guide and encourage them on how to make substantial edits, communication was key and also we had a Telegram group to share views on there. Also, we recorded our video sessions and share to participants who couldn't join through the live video call

  • What did not work so well?

We found out some new participants were scared to make their first edit on an article even when they are sure of what to do. I was committed in helping them get through their fear by monitoring and encouraging them.

  • What would you do differently next time?

Focus more on the new editors to help build their confidence
