Goals
[edit]Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
Yes! We met our goals, community members socialized, new editors were recruited, existing editors increased their skills and we added to content in Igbo Wikipedia and Wiktionary, as well as in Wikimedia Commons.

Learning
[edit]Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
Incorporating social activities that are peculiar to Igbo culture made our meetups fun. Also, the idea of having Wiki news where we get our members acquainted with essential things happening in Wikimedia worked well because it kept them abrased with current activities in Wikimedia.
- What did not work so well?
Having 20 participants for each meetup was not achieved, maybe this was very ambitious.
- What would you do differently next time?
Nothing precisely, maybe we will explore accommodating online participation of community members not physically present.
