• The goal of the Sign Off Event is to create a formal relationship between the two parties involved namely: Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation ( NTDC) and Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation(WNF).

Outcome

1. Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation and NTDC have agreed to work on releasing of Free-Licensed images on Nigerian Protected place, parks and Natural Sites to Wikimedia Commons through Wiki Loves Earth and Wiki Loves Monuments.
2. NTDC has agreed to work with Nigerian Immigration to facilitate the issue of Visa on Arrival to all participants of WikiIndaba 2019.

Benefit of the event to Wikimedia Nigeria community

To Improve our partnership stastus with Non Wikibased organisation in Nigeria

• To serve as learning pattern on how to work with governemnt agency.
• To help our community access information about Nigerian related contents on Tourist Site Attraction points for onward ussage on Wikimedia related projects.
• To encouirage the agency release freely use content on Nigeria Tourist Site Attractions for Wikimedia projects.
• To serve as platform for introdicing staff of the agency to Wikipedia

Learning

• What worked well? I travelled to Abuja a day before the event. This helps to prepare me for the D-day. .
• What did not work so well? Some of the invited Journalist came a bit late .
• What would you do differently next time? Ensure that invitees are reminded in time of event time.
