Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well? We were able to establish a worthwhile partnership with FRCN and RCCG which is a pointer to future collaborations.
  • What did not work so well?
  1. IP range blocking during the training.
  2. Response of new editors is a bit slow considering the fact that it is a new project.
  3. Delay in the response of our partners which led to extension of the project duration is also one of the things that didn't work well.
  • What would you do differently next time?
  1. I will ensure that i request for IP range exemption for future training of this nature.
  2. I will look into requesting a longer time range to accommodate challenges that might come up as regards experience and response of new editors
  3. I will pay more attention to our partner's calendar with a view avoid clashes and future delays.
