Sí logramos los objetivos generales y estamos felices por los resultado alcanzados ya que la participación fue cinco veces mayor a lo planificado y contamos con muchas imágenes de calidad para los proyectos Wikimedia. La sección de edición de artículos obtuvo mucha convocatoria pero fue complicado llevarla a cabo durante 2020 y 2021 debido las complicaciones de la situación política del país y la pandemia de COVID 2019.
- Add or improve content about conservation areas and national parks.
Logramos mejorar y adicionar nuevo contenido sobre Bolivia relacionado con áreas protegidas de Bolivia y Parques nacionales.
- Recruit new editors related to the protection of nature
Se sumaron nuevos wikimedistas relacionados con la protección de la naturaleza.
- Engage existing editors to create and develop new content on Wikimedia projects
Logramos que editores existentes se interesen y mejoren los contenidos en los proyectos Wikimedia

- What worked well?
- Lo que mejor funcionó fue la convocatoria, logramos contar con muchas fotografías de calidad y de gran diversidad de sitios del país.
- Logramos establecer un contacto con el Ministerio del área.
- Logramos establecer un ciclo de sesiones de edición con alumnos de la Universidad Gabriel René Moreno.
- What did not work so well?
- El concurso de escritura no fue tan bien ya que el país pasó por una crisis política que supuso diferentes problemas para los talleres presenciales, aunque la convocatoria fue buena, situaciones como la pandemia de COVID impidieron que retomemos el concurso de escritura.
- What would you do differently next time?
Concentrarnos en la actividad fotográfica, combinarla con paseos y actividades al aire libre y separar el concurso de escritura.

- Internet connection for two people in each one of the main three cities of our country ( 1 month) : 350 USD
- First Prize: 300 USD in photography related articles
- Second Prize: 250 USD in photography relatedarticles
- Third Prize: 150 USD in photography related articles
- 4th to 5th prize, wikimedia souvenirs ( stickers and postcards) 100 USD
- Certificates for the 10 winners of the photo contest: 50 USD
- Prizes for the three best editors for the editing contest: 220 USD in books related to the natural areas in Bolivia.
- Certificates for the 10 best editors in the edition contest: 25 USD
- Certificates for the local volunteer jury: 50 USD
- Printing service for posters, postcards, and promotional material 100 USD
- Internet connection for speakers for the webinars: 40 usd
- Bank fees: 15 USD
- Other expenses : transportation, office articles, snacks for the team: 100 USD
- Post cards printing : 150 USD
- Accountant service to help with reports and recipes on time: 50 USD
- Non expected expenditures: 50 USD

Sí, tenemos fondos remanentes y también regalos y premios pendientes de entrega por lo que hemos planificado llevar a acabo el maratón de edición y la premiación de los ganadores como parte del plan anual de Wikimedistas de Bolivia de cara al 2023.
El monto remanente es de 700 USD que corresponde a los premios del concurso de fotografía que no entregamos aun. Planificamos realizar un evento para darle mayor visibilidad a los resultados y a los ganadores.

1. What content will the contest focus on, and why is it important to your community?
Multimedia content related to natural areas in Bolivia.
2. How will you let people know about the contest?
- We have some channels of communication in social networks, and volunteers to contact key people with interest in natural areas and environment
3. How will you judge the contest and award prizes?
- We had experience to judge the contest with the help of a jury with people with experience in the main theme of the contest, and people of the international wikimedia community.
4. For photo contests, what is the strategy to get images used on projects?
- We have planned a webinar about natural areas in our country and a constest about writing and improving wikipedia articles, as a part of the prizes we will produce some postcards to share the experience and the results
5. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?
- The last year we had a Wikipedia event related to natural areas because our country was suffering an regional fire that endangered people, animal species and entire ecosystems.
- Time plan for activities:
- Before May: Preparing alliances
- May: Planning webinars and list of natural areas
- June-July: Running the competition, posting updates to social media,
- August-September: Making pre-selection for the jury. Jury work, deciding local winners. 10 best photos will be submitted to the international contest.Evaluating the project
- October-November Compiling the report. Showcasing best work on social media.
- January 2021 Awards ceremony for local winners. Follow-up press release. To clarify, no public event or gathering will be organized before 15 September as per WMF guidelines.

- Consideramos que el evento fue exitoso porque superamos en 9 veces la meta de contenido fotográfico, igualmente, casi triplicamos la cantidad de nuevas personas que aportaron contenido a Wikimedia Commons, adicionalmente se incorporó contenido en Wikidata (algo que no estuvo inicialmente previsto) y se mejoraron contenidos en Wikipedia aunque no hemos contabilizado el total ya que planificamos realizar un concurso futuro. también logramso interesar a las personas en conocer acerca de las ´reas naturales protegidas menos conocidas y más cercanas existentes por ejemplo en remanentes urbanos como Curichi la Madre.

Nuestro proyecto acerca de áreas naturales protegidas nos permitió:
- Confirmar alginas hipótesis obre los eventos que mejor acogida tienen en el país.
- Afianzar alianzas y plantear establecer otras con entidades que trabajan para promover el desarrollo sostenible y la preservación del hábitat mundial para garantizar la reproducción de la vida.
- Reflexionar sobre otras categorías y temas ligados que pueden ser tema de reflexión en eventos posteriores y de formación educativa.
Valorar otros aspectos del concurso en el contexto local, por la diversidad geográfica de Bolivia y la urgencia de tomar acciones que garanticen un uso eficiente de recursos naturales y se comprenda la interdependencia de ecosistemas y la reproducción de la vida consideramos que fue un proyecto útil porque:
- Promovió la participación de personas en los proyectos wiki.
- Creó impacto en la sociedad más allá del espacio virtual,( lineamiento de la comunidad de Wikimedistas de Bolivia)
- Permitió la narración de la realidad local a los propios habitantes de los espacios.
- Mejoró la representatividad de diferentes regiones.
- Ilustra de manera muy explícita la relación de las áreas protegidas con el hábitat de diferentes naciones de Bolivia, como en las fotos siguientes:
