In part triggered by the conversations at Wikimania, I started a push to improve the documentation on Wiki Loves Monuments. I used the opportunity to improve, among others, the FAQ. I also played a role in helping to add more countries to Wiki Loves Monuments 2017. This included many smaller tasks (often not documented explicitely), but including pushing forward phabricator:T153221, adding Australia's monuments to Wikidata and the monuments database.

The most helpful (but not publicly documented) outcome was probably the transfer of knowledge during and following Wikimania with a number of countries around Wiki Loves Monuments. I used the opportunity to speak with many countries, and help them to participate. This included China, France, Taiwan, South Africa, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Jordan/Palestine/Lebanon/Syria, Australia, Serbia, Nepal, India and some more general conversations.

Connections

I talked a lot with people all over the movement, building upon existing connections, and creating new ones. I met with representatives from the countries above in the scope of Wiki Loves Monuments, but also discussed more generally about Wikimedia policies with Foundation and chapter representatives. We prepared a panel discussion about Wiki Loves Monuments, with good participation from the people that we wanted there: especially helpful was the participation of first time organizers and countries that were not certain to join yet. I estimate attendance around 40. We also organized a networking meeting where organizers of all Wiki Loves events (Wiki Loves Africa, Wiki Loves Monuments, Wiki Loves Earth etc) could share their successes and challenges.

Anything else

It was a great meeting - but the effect would have been even better when there would have been more participation from the developing world. It was unfortunate that many representatives were unable to come due to visa issues. I would have liked to meet more of them, as many of their challenges are related to their expertises.
