While we ware in London for Wikimania 2014 we manage to publish series of news coverage[1][2][3][4] in print media here in Bangladesh about Wikimania 2014. We also published a feature[5] about our Wikimania experience at print media. After we back to Bangladesh we've arrange a meet-up[6] to share our experiences with local community on 22 August.

Connections[edit]

This is my fifth time at Wikimania. So I have lot of old friends and old memories at Wikimania. It is so lovely to meet people whom I meet before 2, 3 or 5 years back, and share our experiences how we are moving foroward as community. Meet to Gerard Meijssen after 4 years, he inspired me to arrange a workshop here in Bangladesh to introduce Wikidata to the local organizations who have huge data sets. And he also agree to come in Banglaesh to conduct the workshop.

Also we meet Carolynne Schloeder, Director of Mobile Partnership and have a nice discussion about partnership with Mobile Carriers in Bangladesh and Wikipedia Zero program. There was a effective discussion about partnaring with Grameenphone I-genius program through Wikimedia Bangladesh chapter.

I also meet with Runa Bhattacharjee and Kartik Mistry to solve a old bug about Bengali font problem and we made a decission how we solve that.
