Awareness and One Year Anniversary of Wikimedia Anambra Network
Anniversary is acknowledged and celebrated in Wikimedia spaces. In 2020 Wikipedia celebrated its 20th birthday. In 2022, Wikidata celebrated its 10th birthday. The essence is to appreciate the volunteers and laud the sustainability of the space. The Wikimedia Anambra Network was inaugurated on September 24, 2022. It has gone through thick and thin to remain standing with loyal members who give in everything to keep it running. This is about the people, about their energy, about their time and resources.
This celebration incorporated the awareness creation to bring in more numbers and interact about the guidelines and principles of Wikipedia. The event is planned to have virtual and in-person events with all the communities, Networks and hubs under the WUGN participating online to celebrate with Anambra Network. The Anambra Network will perform virtual entertainment while the hubs and communities offer goodwill messages.

- One virtual session and one in-person event

- Yes we discussed in our online meetings, in physical events, in our platforms. They are aware and looking forward to the event.
3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?

- Yes. They have smartphones and laptops

- They will be added to the already existing platforms and incorporated in the activities of the Network

- This is a good course to encourage the members of the Network and give visibility of Wikimedia in Anambra State

We will create a meta page for the event. Then the statistical evaluation of the learning outcome of the guidelines and principles

- User:Ngostary2k is an Wikimedian that will co-moderate the virtual session and provision of resources for the learning during the events.
- User:Timzy D'Great is well experiences in guiding the interactive session during the in-person event on guidelines and awareness of Wikimedia.
- User:Obuezie is experienced and will guide the tour for the exhibition of posters of the Network in the one year of its existence.
- User:AfricanLibrarian is versed and will co-moderate the virtual session as well as lead on the benefits and evaluation of the learning outcomes.
