  • The Legacy School of Health, located in Northern Nigeria, aims to lead in the acceptance and engagement with Wikipedia and its projects. This involves fostering active participation among students and staff, dispelling skepticism through a robust campaign, emphasizing the credibility of Wikimedia projects, and establishing enduring communities within the institution. The initiative is dedicated to motivating involvement by highlighting the research potential of Wikimedia platforms, conducting training sessions, and creating a collaborative environment for continuous contributions. With a primary focus on Hausa Wikipedia and Wiki Commons, the project will involve translating English Wikipedia articles into Hausa and capturing images related to Hausa communities, such as cows, ancient houses, and cultural weddings.etc

Yes.I will post the link social media platform and also I have informed Hausa Wikimedia User Group.I will used Whatsapp and Tweeter for the sharing of link

Bembety He is a highly experienced and accomplished editor with a profound understanding of Wikimedia projects. With his extensive expertise, he is the project lead of at Ummah College of Health Science and Technology. Throughout his career, Bembety has been actively involved in numerous impactful Wikimedia initiatives also attended the Train the trainers

YusufuAm is an experienced Wikimedian. He has participated in different Wiki activities. He won the first prize award at Wikimedia Awareness in Federal University of Kashere, Wikimedia Awareness in Federal Polytechnic Kaltungo and others. He also served as a facilitator at wikimedia awareness in Dadin Kowa, Wikiclimate tour Kashere University etc.

Hafs2233 is a prominent editor who has played a leading role in the WikiClimate Tour Nigeria, contributing significantly to various universities across the country. Her dedication and expertise make her a top editor in this initiative, where she actively engages in raising climate awareness and promoting environmental knowledge through Wikimedia projects

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

We will include new editors, along with five invited veteran editors and facilitators, in our social media platforms on WhatsApp and some other media for continuous updates and engagement in various Wikimedia projects.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

The project aims to positively impact students, staff, and the community by focusing on environmental cleanliness and promoting a clean environment.

How do you plan to track your project metrics? To enhance monitoring of project metrics, we will implement a thorough strategy, including the establishment of a dedicated dashboard. This centralized platform will enable the continuous tracking and analysis of participants' contributions, emphasizing metrics like the quantity of uploaded quality images. The dashboard, offering real-time updates and visualizations, facilitates monitoring individual progress and gauging the collective impact of the project. It allows prompt identification of areas needing additional support or intervention. Furthermore, the dashboard supports the generation of comprehensive reports on project metrics, providing insights into overall performance, facilitating evaluation, and pinpointing areas for enhancement. Regular metric reviews and data analysis empower us to make informed decisions, refine strategies, and ensure the project's effectiveness.
