International Women's Day (IWD) is a global celebration of the social, economic, and political achievements of women. it's also a call to action for accelerating gender parity. To promote diversity and inclusivity, this project will be highlighting the contributions of women throughout history and across various Fields. The impact is to enhance the visibility of women on Wikimedia platforms by creating and improving articles, images and other media related to women's achievements. it will encourage more women to contribute to Wikimedia projects by fostering a supportive and welcoming community. Also, provide accurate and comprehensive information about women's accomplishments to inspire future generations and challenge gender stereotypes. This project will involve article creation and improvement, Translation of articles about prominent women into our indigenous language to make information accessible to diverse audiences. These will help increase representation of women on Wikimedia platforms, Also strengthen community of women editors and contributors, leading to a more diverse and inclusive Wikimedia ecosystem. By celebrating International Women's Day through this Wikimedia project,we aim to honor the achievements of women past and present while also taking meaningful steps towards a more equitable and inclusive world.

Yes, they have their phones and laptop and will teach them how to edit Wikipedia and wikidata.

We will follow them up through different channels.

This project will help recruit female contributors.
