This proposal seeks to enhance the integration of Wikipedia and its associated projects within the college community. The primary goal is to encourage widespread acceptance of these platforms, cultivating active engagement from both students and lecturers in contributing valuable content. By establishing sustainable communities dedicated to Wikimedia initiatives, the college aims to create a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

Through this initiative, the Federal College of Education Zaria aspires to not only contribute to the global pool of information but also to empower its students and educators to actively participate in shaping and enriching the educational landscape on Wikimedia platforms. This endeavor aligns with the institution's commitment to promoting research, innovation, and the dissemination of knowledge, ensuring a lasting impact on both the local community and the broader academic community.

I, User:Smshika, will take on the role of leading the event, collaborating with the expertise and assistance of User:Hauwau sulaiman. Hawa'u is not only a dedicated student at FCE Zaria but also brings a wealth of experience as an accomplished Wikipedia editor. Her valuable contributions were evident in our past collaboration on the Wiki for Human Rights project last year, where she played a significant role in facilitating and enhancing the project's success. Additionally, Hawa'u brought her expertise to the Funtua Women Wiki project, further showcasing her commitment to fostering knowledge-sharing initiatives. Together, our collaboration aims to bring a unique blend of leadership and seasoned editing skills to ensure the success of the upcoming project.
