Project summary[edit]

Briefly summarize your project proposal.

Is a Wikidata project that is aimed at updating and improving the Wikidata by creating items on various entities in Igbo language which are located in scholarly articles research published in journals. The goal is to increase the use of entities in Igbo language on Wikidata.

The programs we planned establishing are:

1. Training students on how to edit on wikidata and how to contribute to free knowledge.

2. After the training, the participants will be able to add scholarly articles on there own.

3. Apply for a fan club to involve Deltans the school which will help in speeding of Wikimedia knowledge in the State.

We have the full support of the Head of Department of Civil engineering.

One day training with online follow up.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. 3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?

They have their phones and laptop and i will teach them how to navigate.
