  • Wiki Loves Africa '24 LASU Epe is a project that enables new and existing members of the fan club contribute media that showcases african creativity in our environment to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation.

  1. recruit new editors
  2. Add content related to African Creativity
  3. Introduce the new executives of the fanclub
  4. train editors on using wiki commons

One Training session, one photo walk session and one editathon

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Participants will be asked to come with their mobile devices for participation, needed skills will be taught. Also internet service will be provided for those who don't have to participate

a closed whatsapp group and google forms will be used

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

This is the third time wikiloves africa project would be carried out in LASU Epe and new executives would be introduced.
