  • Adamawa State Polytechnic recognizes the importance of digital literacy and research skills in the academic and professional development of its community. This Wikipedia Awareness and Training Program intends to empower students with the ability to critically engage with online information, contribute to the world's largest knowledge repository, and foster a culture of open collaboration. The vision of the college, is “To Be

a Standard Polytechnic in Nigeria and Africa, Well Known for Its Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurial Skills Training Development AND Self-Reliance” and our mission therefore is “To Provide Well Trained, Skilful Middle belt. The College no doubt strives in all its activities to ensure it fulfils its vision and mission and sustains its position as the first and the best in the comity of Polytechnics in Nigeria.

One physical training and one online training

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?

Mamman AA: is the Project Lead, an experienced Wikimedian and contributor on Fulfulde language Wikimedia.

User:Muhammed Idriss criteria:is an experienced Fulfulde language Wikimedian and facilitator. He will be available to facilitate a session on contributing to Fulfulde language Wikipedia Atibrarian: is an experienced Wikimedian, trainer and pioneer of Wikimedia Gombe Network. He will be serving as project coordinator and online support session facilitator. 5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content?
