  • Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos is a global campaign which focuses on adding/matching images uploaded on the Wikimedia Commons to its corresponding Wikipedia article to bridge the gap of visual representation. As a Newtwork, the Wikimedia Niger Delta Network would also be collectively in bridging this gap by engaging its members in the campaign activities and reinforcing the importance of the campaign goal in the Wikimedia space.

For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Through our social media platform (Whatsapp) and also, through direct WhatsApp Messages and calls.


4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)

Funding this project would ensure that our Network (which is a budding Network) actively take part in not only the Wikimedia Nigeria activities, but that of the global Wiki space.
