I'm just wondering how on Earth WMAU satisfied item S: "In compliance with all applicable laws governing organizations of their type in their country".

To start with, the secretary—the only recognised office-bearer under the incorporation law—is not legally a member of the chapter.

Many requirements under that incorporation law have been breached over the past year—it's just good luck that no member has complained to the authority (the CAV), since some of these breaches expose the chapter to a monetary fine.

And there have been large-scale breaches of the chapter's own by-laws, although I don't see that that counts as part of the eligibility criteria, regrettably. Tony (talk) 13:28, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
