Hi User:ViolaCiv, Margott and Leeturtle, congratulations on a successful event! It is wonderful to hear that you were able to exceed your goals for participation and content creation by so much. It sounds like you learned several important lessons about planning events in your community, from the importance of providing computers, having backup wifi hotspots, bringing resources in languages that people speak and planning in advance to avoid the 6-account per IP limit. It is also great to hear that experienced editors found the meetup valuable for discussing administrative issues and learning about new programs. We hope that the new Rapid Grant program, which opens on May 15th, will help avoid problems with getting funding in time to pay vendors.
