Response to rapid fund application[edit]

Dear Emylina Alexis,

Thank you for submitting your rapid fund proposal. The Rapid Fund program funds Wikimedia community members – individuals, groups, or organizations contributing to Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia or Commons.

We understand the relevance of the work you are doing to improve the lives and support leadership opportunities for girls in Haiti.

Unfortunately, your project does not fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Proposals should support the achievement of Wikimedia’s mission and strategic direction.
  • Projects should aim at improving one or more of Wikimedia's existing websites. Projects aimed at improving third-party applications are not eligible for funding.

We wish you success as your project continues to pursue its important mission.
