Grants talk:Project/Rapid/LDTC Wikipedians/Language Page Editathons 2018/Report

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Report accepted[edit]

Hello, BlakeALee; thank you for your work on all these editathons and on this report. We know that you faced resistance from other community members when you submitted your proposal, but your report shows that your work had good results and that participants were happy with their participation in the editathon.

We have a few comments in the interest of making your future initiatives even stronger:

  1. For future reporting (for yourself, us and others browsing through report pages to find inspiration for their own initiatives and reporting), it would be good if you could include links and/or concrete examples of some of the articles created or improved. Other grantees include, for example, dashboards. Another thing that would be good to include is a slightly more detailed break-down of the budget: 143.20 USD spent in x coffee place, x spent in supplies, etc.
  2. Because you are working with a group of graduate students, you might benefit from checking the resources at the Wikipedia Education Program.

I have accepted your expense documentation and this final report. With this, your grant has been successfully completed. Thank you for all your work for the Wiki movement, MMontes (WMF) (talk) 05:44, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the comments and for all the assistance!BlakeALee (talk) 05:24, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
