Grants talk:Project/Rapid/OFWA/Summer Open School/Report

Report accepted[edit]

Hi, Flixtey and Andrews Lartey, I'm a new grants coordinator assisting Woubzena with rapid grants. I have reviewed and accepted your final report and expense documentation. Thank you for your engagement with the reporting review process, and with your work throughout the grants process. We appreciate the outcomes from your project, and what you learned with WMF and the community. I have a few questions/reflections:

  • A high number of people registered for the event but fewer than half showed up. What do you think you could do differently in the future to encourage participants to show up?
  • Time pressure resulted in a lower-than-expected number of articles created. Would you change anything to give more time to edit articles if you find yourself short on time in the future?
  • It sounds like you did a great job of recruiting Wiki contributors and active participants in the Wiki movement from the event attendees! What do you think got event attendees excited about being active in Wikimedia and its sister sites?

We thank you for your work for the movement, and offer you our best wishes for your future work. We also warmly welcome any updates you would like to provide us about your completed project. Thank you! LSmith (WMF) (talk) 20:33, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
