Report accepted[edit]

Hi, Guguly18, thank you for submitting this final report and the expense documentation for this grant. I have reviewed and accepted both. This grant will be complete as soon as we decide what to do with your remaining funds! Below are some comments and questions for reflection:

  • I'm happy to hear that the celebration was so well-attended. It also sounds like there were lots of informative and useful sessions for participants to build their editing skills.
  • It sounds like using Facebook Live to reach even more participants was very helpful.
    • What takeaways do you have from using Facebook Live that might be helpful to other groups?
    • Would you use it again?
  • What came of the five projects -- related to Odia Cinema, Archaeology, Computer Science, Law and others -- that were started during the event? Have group members continued to work on them?
  • You mentioned that the event offered an opportunity to discuss challenges.
    • What challenges came up?
    • What solutions (if any) were discussed?
  • You have a small amount of money left over from this grant. Given their small amount, I would suggest asking to retain them for mission-aligned activities, but you can choose whether you'd like to do that or ask that they be deducted to a new grant request. Please edit the grant report to include what you would like to do with those funds.

Many thanks for all your hard work on this grant, and for sharing what you learned with WMF and the community!
