Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Project/Semester Funding for Workshops and Events in Spring 2018/Report

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Hello Lilnors and Blervis thank you for submitting your grant report. I understand that you're not happy with your outcomes but I wanted to commend you on your work around outreach, even if it didn't result in increased participation. I especially enjoyed looking through your materials for presentation and interview with the school paper.
One item I wanted to comment on was:

  • It appears that you have had underspends every time you've run these workshops so I would encourage you to reconsider your budget in your next proposal.

I am accepting your report and expense documentation. However, before we can close your grant we will need to settle the remaining funds. I see on your report that you have $322.01 remaining on this report. In your email to our team, you stated that you have used $231.16 on a Fall Workshops. That still leaves more remaining funds. Can you let us know on this discussion page what you have used funds for and what you plan to do with the left over amount from your remaining funds? As my colleague MJue (WMF) mentioned in her email we will also need you to send your expense documentation for the remaining funds to <rapidgrants@wikimedia.org>. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 01:26, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
