Report accepted[edit]

Hi, Rossella Vignola (OBC), thank you for submitting this final report and your expense documentation. I have reviewed and accepted both, and your remaining funds have already been deducted from another grant. Congratulations, this grant is now complete!

Comments and Questions

  • Even though you did not meet the participation goals you set, you still managed to translate a good number of articles! Congratulations on also creating new articles on the recent killings of journalists. That is certainly an important and timely contribution!
  • You mentioned possibly choosing easier articles at future events. This could be a good way of increasing the number of articles you translate. However, it might be good to have a range of articles to engage a variety of participants, from less to more experienced ones. Also, quality is just as important as quantity, so we understand and appreciate the value of an edit-a-thon that results in a lower number of articles being translated, if those articles are of important value and are well done.

Many thanks for all the hard work you put into this grant, and for sharing what you learned with WMF and the community. We welcome any additional thoughts you would like to share with us!
