Comments and Questions

  • It sounds like this grant helped the group accomplish some much-needed administrative tasks. How will the group carry forward and continue to support this type of work?
  • With the growth of local communities have you been tracking any metrics, such as increased siteviews or increased edits? If so, would you link to them in the report, please?

Thank you for all your hard work on this grant and for sharing what you learned with WMF and the community! Warmly, LSmith (WMF) (talk) 16:28, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lindsey, to answer your first question, I would say for the moment we will continue to rely on WMF to support this kind of works. As you can see it's mostly about renewing our possessions (i.e., organization registration, domains, site essentials, etc.). Secondly, currently we are not tracking particularly any third party metrics. The grant also doesn't directly relate to on-wiki impacts, because it's about sustainability of the group (WMBD), not a program where we can evaluate the engagements. With this grant, we have the chance to fulfill the legal bindings for our group and some basic needs which will help to ensure our functional existence to provide a base the volunteers need. — T. 17:04, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
