Hi Papuass. Thank you for this grant report and the team's efforts to organize WLE in Latvia. The top 10 photos are really beautiful and it's great to see that 13% of the images are already in use on the Wikimedia projects. We understand it's frustrating to have lower participation than expected. All of your ideas for making improvements next year sound good. You can also think about different partnership options, such as with photography or nature clubs that might increase participation. If you are planning to submit another Rapid Grant request in the next month, you can hold on to the unspent funds. Thank you for your review, my grant experience has been without significant issues.
Even though I had some ideas, I will return unspent funds in next few days (using UK account would allow to keep transaction fee small, did not know it existed). Wouldn't it be sensible to protect this page (and transcluded templates) before something ugly happens? --Papuass (talk) 10:25, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
