Grants talk:Project/Rapid/UNI Edits 2018-19/Report

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

The report originally stated we had $176.17 remaining, which was incorrect. We were awarded $2000 - $194.16 which was left over from Rod Library Art+Feminism 2018. My records showed we had $176.17 remaining, but I failed to add the $194.16. In fact, we had $370.33 total remaining. I have corrected the report. --ActionableIdeas (talk) 20:48, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ActionableIdeas,

Thank you for submitting this final report and your expense documentation. We have reviewed and are accepting both. Congratulations, this grant is now complete! Below we have left some comments and questions reflecting on your report for you to review when you can.

  • Despite having lower attendance than you’d hoped for, you managed to write more articles and recruit more new editors than planned. Congratulations!
  • Your report shows all the ways you’re experimenting with the edit-a-thons to make them as inclusive and effective as possible, from hosting them on different days or at different times, to providing child care, to partnering with different groups. We know not everything will be successful, and appreciate you trying different things to maximize the impact of your edit-a-thons!
  • Is there any specific advice you’d give to other grantees who are interested in organizing diversity-focused edit-a-thons?

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this grant and your final report! Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 19:45, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
