Question about your participation[edit]

Hello, Harsh:

Thank you for this request and for all of your work on MediaWiki!

Considering that you and Sucheta are both requesting support in order to deliver the same talk, would you please explain why two people are needed to deliver this talk and achieve the expected impact?

Thank you, Winifred Olliff (Grants Administrator) talk 23:52, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Winifred
here is synopsis from our talk
  1. The problems – Society. The coding culture. We shall explain things as they are.
  2. Our Story – We do have stories of how we got into communities and how much we love it!
As you know the talk we are going to give at OSB is concentrated around the people associated with the Open Source World. Sucheta and Me come from very different backgrounds, she hails from Kolkata (Eastern India) whereas I come from Ahmedabad (Western India), so there is a significant difference in our mindset, thought process, the problems we have faced so far. So in this talk, both of us are going to present our own story about our backgrounds. In our talk we will also mention the problem that open source community face in India. Since here also there is significant differences. Coming from different cultural backgrounds, we will have our own stories to tell. So in general goal is same but the way of presenting is quite different, the problems, the story.
Thank you. --Harsh4101991 (talk) 18:49, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the information, Harsh. I see that you've also acquired some endorsements in the mean time. We should have a decision for you by tomorrow. Best, Winifred Olliff (Grants Administrator) talk 16:32, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
