Learnings for attendees?[edit]
Hi Noopur! I appreciate the succinct writeup and your link to the talk (which looks super interesting!). :-) Great to hear what you think learnings are for conference organizers - I would also be curious to hear if there is anything that you as an attendee or speaker might have done differently, or that worked particularly well. - Dear Siko, thanks for the question! After a few presentations and talks in the past I realized that it really helps to keep presentations short and avoid loaded multimedia files depending on the infrastructure. This time, in retrospect, I really wish I had a hands-on editing activity. For sometime now I've been thinking of developing a bunch of (memorable) editing activities that illustrate the point I am trying to make for better recall. Earlier this year I had contributed to ideas on making a fembot for Wikipedia. Similarly, I'd like to work on "tactical editing" to engage with activists who would like to contribute to Wikipedia.
