Support details[edit]

Support type[edit]

What type of support you need

  • Chromebook

Reason[edit]

Why do you need this support (Internet and/or Chromebook)
I am a student of the English and Foreign Language University, Hyderabad. I have a seven year old HP laptop which is falling apart in terms of hardware and software. I get free internet here within the university. A Chromebook would enable me to stay ahead with editing and creating Wikipedia pages than me struggling on my phone. It would also help me with regional language typing, that is, for Malayalam language support.

Do you have a working laptop?
As of now, No. I am using my roommate's to type all these out.

Had you received the support in the first iteration of Project Tiger?
No, I haven't. I have participated in the first edition of the Project Tiger for the creation of new Malayalam language Wikipedia's in 2018.

Future activities[edit]

How will you use this in the next six months?
I am a final year post-graduate student of English Literature. I do not have as many courses for my final year as the previous year. I plan to create, edit and develop the regional language Wikipedia of Malayalam, since it needs more work and resources than the English language Wikipedia.
