Explain your plan[edit]

Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

I currently use a cheap and old laptop (Asus) with relatively poor performance. I have until now (in 4 years since I have this username) more than 47.000 edits on roWikipedia, more than 17.000 edits on Wikidata and more than 1.000 images uploaded on Commons. I wrote more quality and good articles in the field of literature (for exemple: ro:Jurnalul Annei Frank is one of the most documented article from all Wikipedias about The Diary of Anne Frank and a quality article on Romanian Wikipedia). Besides my daily work, I patrol the recent changes page as much as I can and I improve a lot of new articles by adding infoboxes and missing informations in Wikidata.

I have won the romanian version of the contest ro:Wikipedia:Wikimedia CEE Spring 2016 (using my old username ro:User:Haptokar) and I was ranked 3rd in 2018 (see ro:Wikipedia:Wikimedia CEE Spring 2018). I wrote articles about every community of CEE Spring 2018 and I have therefore received the honour of being inscribed on Hall of Fame of the contest (see Wikimedia CEE Spring 2018/Hall of Fame).

Unfortunately, my laptop's performances decrease, and I have to wait seconds and sometimes minutes to save the results of my work. Besides that the battery overheats and I need frequently to shut down the laptop for cooling. I need a laptop more efficient, to better contribute to the Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Commons, and Wikidata).
