I am a volunteer since May, 2017. I have 52,000+ global edits and created/translated 5500+ articles on Punjabi Wikipedia. I love doing this work. Currently, I am working from a very old laptop and this devices is not good enough to work with updated system. It hangs too much and processes very slowly. As you know, technology needs to be upgraded with time and the specifications of this device aren't good enough to work at present. Also, I am planning to work more on media-related wiki projects in the future. But that could be only possible if can get this hardware support. So, I need a laptop with a good CPU and GPU Power. So, keeping in view my online contributions, dedication and work, I request the foundation to support me with a better laptop to keep me working with even more dedication for Wikipedia.

Wikimania pickup

If awarded, I will not be able to attend Wikimania in Paris. The laptop can be collected on my behalf by Satdeep Gill / Satdeep Gill, who is a trusted admin of the Punjabi Wikimedia community from Punjab. Alternatively, if he is not available any other Wikimedian from Punjabi wikimedia community can coordinate the pickup if needed.
