Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

I am volunteer and have been engaged in various wikimedia project for the user group in Ghana or an active community member for Open Foundation West Africa (OFWA),I also engage in personal wiki project which includes awareness creation, capacity building and content development through article creation and edits.

I am currently having a challenge with my laptop which I have used over nine years. My laptop continues to freeze eventhough I have tried fixing the problem continues to persist, and this has affected the speed at which I create articles,editing or contributions to various projects. Giving me a laptop would enable me do more edits on various project and also continue to build capacity and train new and old members in the community and beyond. Doing this would enable us to meet our strategic direction of 2030 thus knowledge through service and equity.
